I was very naive in the past when it came to network marketing. I believed that the only way to succeed in this business was to become the ‘distributor’. I made my move as soon as the construction of Amway Philippines went underway. I flew over and surveyed the market before deciding to quit my full-time job without listening to the protests of anyone in my family, not even my own fianc?e.  I packed my bags along with 300,000 baht in cash from the car that I sold and set off to the Philippines together with 30 other Thai Amway IBOs.

My goal was to become successful within a year.

It turned out that in order to start an Amway business abroad, one must reapply and start from zero.  I thought about whom to choose as an ‘upline’ or leader and decided upon ‘Jim Dornan,’ the world-renowned Crown Ambassador of Amway. I was very honored to be chosen to attend an executive level meeting with the upline as his translator.  The experience had given me the opportunity to access Amway’s inside information not widely known to the public.

Two weeks pass, a whole bunch of Thai Amway IBOs dropped out from the group. There were only three of us left: me, my friend, and another Thai upline. Eventually, I too was out of cash and decided to head home. It was a very depressing time in my life because I had failed.

I came back to Thailand in the year 2540, the same time as when the government devalued Thai baht, which resulted in me being out of work for a period of time. During that time, I had invented ‘AMTEL’ which was a communication tool that uses a voicemail system to support the expansion of network marketing organizations. I had introduced ‘AMTEL’ to Amway Thailand but the deal did not go through due to the system being too advanced for the time being.

I eventually renamed ‘AMTEL ‘to ‘TeleVOX’ and shifted the marketing direction to NuSkin, Herbalife, Nulife, and Kanzen-Kenko, which prompted a new opportunity for me. I had a chance to converse with high-ranking executives from each company and had learned that their marketing tactics and products are of quality no less than Amway’s.

Finally, the TeleVOX deal went through with Kanzen-Kenko and I was recruited by one of the high-ranking executives to join their company as the Marketing Consultant. For the first time in my life, my salary reached six-figure digits. I was more than ecstatic!

My management experience at Kanzen-Kenko had taught me to look at the world through the point of view of an executive as I had gained an understanding of various styles of managements.

As I was feeling quite satisfied with my role as a Marketing Consultant, my cravings for more time and financial freedom still persisted. My only answer to this dilemma was to become a very successful independent businessman.

As my experiences in this business broadened, I came to realize that ideal network marketing must have these components:

• Successful, worldwide organization/entity.
• Great quality products with selling points.
• Marketing tactics that will induce stable profits.
• Worldwide Link marketing style.

   

  When the new American-born fruit juice company, Noni, ventured into Thailand from their headquarters in Utah, it became one of the fastest-growing companies in the world. I got on board as I realized that this company had all of the components listed above and I applied all of my skills to add to the company’s success.

  For the first three months, my salary was in the six-digits range. 17 months later, I received my very first million baht paycheck.

  In the process, I had expanded the company to over 15 countries worldwide.

  In five years, I have taken close to 30 trips along with Noni to over 15 countries around the world.

  I considered Noni my second MLM University that taught me network marketing on a global scale and which had given me an opportunity to work alongside other world-renowned businessmen.
